    OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA          Processed with VSCO with f2 presetIch habe mir gerade ein paar Kerzen angemacht, nebenbei läuft Greys Anatomy und ich finde endlich die Zeit ein paar Zeilen über Tokio zu verfassen.

    Positiv überrascht war ich von der Sauberkeit dieser Stadt. Es leben circa 8,5 Millionen Menschen dort und weder liegt Müll auf der Straße, Ziggarettenstummel liegen herum noch kleben Kaugummis auf der Straße. Und das, obwohl in ganz Tokio keine öffentlichen Mülleimer sind. Ich frage mich, warum unsere bzw. meine unmittelbare Umgebung teilweise aussieht wie Sau und in einer Stadt in der gefühlt 10 Mal soviele Menschen leben, könnte man quasi von der Straße essen. Zum Thema „Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel“ kann ich nur sagen, dass die Bahnen zur Rush Hour extrem voll sind, die Straßen aber verhältnismäßig leer. Von Großstädten wie New York, Los Angeles etc. bin ich es eher gewohnt, dass jeder Mensch im Auto grundlos hupt. Hingegen in Tokio läuft alles sehr gesittet und leise ab. Ein weiteres Detail welches mir aufgefallen ist, ist, dass die Japaner sehr sehr freundlich sind, sie stellen sich in Schlangen (egal ob Bus, Bahn, Restaurants etc.) und an Rolltreppen stellt man sich immer auf die linke Seite damit andere auf der rechten Seite schneller vorbei können. Besonders letzteren Punkt würde ich mir wünschen, dass es auch in Deutschland umgesetzt wird. Was ich auch klasse fand, dass alle Gerichte im Schaufenster als „Wachsfiguren“ ausgestellt sind.

    Ein besonderer Moment für mich war den Shrein zu sehen.
    Harajuku hat mir am meisten gefallen, dort gibt es viele tolle pinke Mädchenläden in denen man einfach alles kaufen kann. Egal ob Handyhülle, Klamotten, Accessoires, Make up, Perrücken usw. Am Tokio-Dome war ein kleiner Freizeitpark und ein Themen-Café (die Mumins) in dem wir am ersten Tag gefrühstückt haben. Super lecker!
    Leider hat die Zeit nicht ganz gereicht um in ein Katzen-Café zu gehen. Ich meine, was gibt es geileres als Katzen und Kaffee? Naja, irgendwann bekomme ich schon noch meine 2 Katzen.

    Als Vegetarierin, muss ich leider sagen, hat man in Tokio eher Probleme. Ein Problem ist auch, dass dort nicht viel Englisch gesprochen wird und somit die Kommunikation erschwert wird. Fleisch und Fisch gehört allen anschein nach zu jeder Mahlzeit hinzu und es gibt kaum Gerichte welche als vegetarisch ausgezeichnet sind. Überlebt habe ich dann mit Matcha: Matcha-Latte, Matcha-Kekse, Matcha-Eis.. Ein wunder, dass ich selbst noch nicht grün bin.

    Leider hat mich Tokio nicht so sehr gefasst oder beeindruckt wie andere Städte. Vielleicht hätte ich lieber mehr das Traditionelle gesehen anstatt gigantische Wolkenkratzer und Reklametafeln welche überall blinken. Vielleicht habe ich mir auch einfach alles komplett anders vorgestellt.
    Ich denke nicht, dass ich noch ein zweites Mal dort hinreisen werde, dennoch war es echt super die Stadt mal gesehen zu haben. Ein Fähnchen mehr auf der Reisewand.
